We are blessed in the fact that we do not typically go searching for volunteers. We are fortunate that our senior participants feel empowered and take pride in our center by volunteering in many ways. They are greeters, cleaners, librarians, instructors, party decorators food servers……. and so on. In addition, the City of Chandler’s Housing Division will accept volunteer hours obtained at the Senior Center for their housing program participants as well. Lastly, we utilize our Mayor’s committees (Mayor’s Committee for the Aging and Mayor’s Youth Committee) and Site Councils when needing volunteers for programs or events.
