JANE ECK SCHOLARSHIP NOW AVAILABLE

Jane Eck was a long-time member or the Arizona Senior Center Association.  In her memory, a scholarship is being offered to rural community senior center directors, staff, and/or volunteers who would like to become an ASCA member and to attend the annual conference.  An application can be downloaded hereDeadline to apply for the scholarship is April 30.

Senior Center Supervisor I (Senior Programs Supervisor I) - City of Phoenix (Open April 6 to 19, 2015) Professional, exempt position (currently there are three openings). Salary $42,515 to $63,315.  See Phoenix.gov/jobs for more information and to apply.  Plans, develops, implements and evaluates all activities, programs and services provided to assist, educate and entertain elderly and disabled clients at a City of Phoenix Senior Center.  There are 15 senior centers operated by the City of Phoenix.  Candidates must be willing to work at any of the 15 senior centers.

The Arizona Senior Center Association quarterly newsletter keeps our members up to date with relevant aging news, senior center stories, and upcoming association workshops and events. Our members receive the quarterly newsletter in their inbox at publication; we then post them here for archive reference. 



Newsletter Submissions:   If you have any new or exciting activities to share, write it up for the newsletter.  Any new staff coming on board?  Any new ideas or programs coming in your area?  Write it up and send to Terri Serein at terri.serein@surpriseaz.gov
